HMT expands CNC Tube Bender manufacturing at Madera, Ca facility
Madera, Ca – USA Manufacturer of world class CNC tube bending machines Horn Machine Tools, Inc has completed
the purchase of additional manufacturing space located adjacent to it’s existing facility. The new expansion will nearly
double the size of the companies work area and allow for greater through put of it’s ALL Electric CNC bender production
“We established a production plan for our 2015 All Electric Models that was sold out in July”, commented HMT President Kent Horn. “We are excited not only about the new building purchase, but the addition of new CNC machining equipment for manufacturing”, he continued.
HMT has recently purchased a new Hass EC1600YZT CNC 4 axis horizontal mill. The machine is the largest mill that Haas manufactures of this type and will greatly boost the companies ability to efficiently machine large weldments and components.

The mill has a built in large rotary table which positions the part on all sides for machining without the need to manually change the setup.
Pictured left is our SNK RB-3M CNC bridge mill.
This mill has the capacity to place an entire CNC bender frame on the 30’ long table and Machine all sides in one setup. The mill has both horizontal and vertical machining capabilities.
The newly added manufacturing space along with the additional CNC machining capacity will boost both productivity and efficiency by allowing the completion of more parts in house with reduced cost, lead-time and a higher level of quality control. These benefits will be Passed on to the customer. These enhancements to HMT’s manufacturing capability will assist the company in meeting increased demand for it’s ALL Electric CNC tube bender line which ranges from 2” to 10” capacity. “Our aggressive manufacturing schedule for the 2016 models will require us to double our production” stated Mr. Horn.
