HMT 5.0ECNC-MS
HMT’s 5.0ECNC-MS CNC tube bender was originally designed to manufacture large diameter truck exhausts. In order to succeed with large diameter, tight radius applications (Often with grades of stainless steel that are aluminized and difficult to bend) the CNC bender has no room for error.
In order to succeed, the bender needs to be a big & heavy machine that is extremely rigid. HMT felt the 5.0ECNC-MS needed to be able to hold at least 3 stacks of full-height tools and be capable of making 1D bends on every stack – not just stack 1. The same unibody frame design found in HMT’s smaller models and Z-Axis pressure die is also utilized in the 5.0ECNC-MS. HMT has provided the 5.0ECNC-MS to truck exhaust manufacturers, aerospace companies, metal fabricators, and ROPS / CAB manufacturers.
